The foundation of our press and media work was the goal of generating awareness for the orchestra and its charitable work, while raising public consciousness about the achievements of visually impaired individuals. It was especially important to highlight the extraordinary skills and talents of the blind and visually impaired musicians, emphasize the uniqueness of the orchestra, and communicate the importance of financial support for the continuation of our cultural and integrative mission. Through targeted PR efforts and collaborations, we successfully sparked the interest of the media, sponsors, and the general public, thus making a lasting contribution to the promotion of the Sonnenorchester.

To showcase the uniqueness of the orchestra, the communication strategy focused primarily on the individuals involved. Through exclusive background discussions with the orchestra's founder, interviews with ensemble members, and the opportunity to attend rehearsals, the extraordinary abilities and talents of the blind and visually impaired musicians were highlighted in the media coverage leading up to the event. Additionally, emphasis was placed on the importance of financial support for the continuation of the orchestra’s cultural and integrative mission.
